A delegation from the Embassy of Brazil in Manila led by His Excellency Antonio José Maria De Souza e Silva, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Philippines (eighth from left), paid a courtesy call upon the UST Rector Very Rev. Fr. Richard G. Ang, O.P., Ph.D., (seventh from left) on March 15, 2022. Accompanied by Minister Sérgio Taam, Deputy Chief of Mission (ninth from left); Counselor Ricardo Poletto, Head of Political Sector (sixth from left); and First Secretary Eduardo Chikusa, Head of Trade and Economic Sector (fifth from left), the delegation met with UST officials regarding matters for internationalization, athletics, history, and languages, and toured the Antonio Vivencio del Rosario UST Heritage Library and the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion. The UST Office of Public Affairs, in partnership with the Office of the Secretary-General, led welcoming courtesies and coordinated the visit, which is one of the first courtesy calls on campus since the pandemic began.
