BS Chemical Engineering alumna Mayumi Menrige Calpotura and BS Biochemistry alumnus and Faculty of Pharmacy academic staff Paolo Robert Parale Bueo claimed the 4th and 5th place in the October 2025 licensure exams for chemical technicians, respectively.


UST logged a 98.05% passing rate in the exams, producing 151 new licensed Thomasian chemical technicians, who were graduates of our BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, and BS Biochemistry programs.
The national passing rate was 83.88%.
The Professional Regulation Commission administered the licensure exams.
