The UST Growling Tigers clawed the UP Fighting Maroons, 87-67, in their opening game of UAAP Season 88 at the Quadricentennial Pavilion.In his debut, foreign student-athlete Collins Akowe notched a double-double with an imposing 29 points and 17 rebounds.
This is the Tigers’ first victory over the Maroons since 2019.
