Three BA-Journalism alumni won awards in the 34th Business Journalism Awards, staged by the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP).
Inst. Jasper Emmanuel Y. Arcalas, MA, of the Department of Journalism was recognized as the Agriculture/Mining Reporter of the Year. Class of 2017 alumna Meg Adonis was named the Reporter of the Year for the Philippine Stock Exchange. Lastly, Class of 2013 alumnus Lorenz S. Marasigan received the Reporter of the Year plum for the telecommunications and transportation beat.
