Tejuco of Architecture turns over APEC publication to PRC

The first publication featuring the architects of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) was formally turned over to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) by the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) on November 29, 2022.


Among the UAP representatives were Ar. Richard M. Garcia, UAP National President and its publication chairman and editor-in-chief, Ar. Felicisimo A. Tejuco, Jr., of the UST College of Architecture. Through the collaboration of the PRC and UAP, the first APEC Architect Coffee Table Book was launched in October 2021 as one of the highlights of the 9th APEC Architect Central Council Meeting.
Spearheaded by the APEC Architects Registry Central Council Chairman and former UST College of Architecture Dean Hon. Yolanda D. Reyes, the publication showcased the pride and milestones of the participating economies in implementing the APEC Architect Project. A chapter was devoted to each participating economy and the notable works of their respective APEC architects. Among the featured works of APEC architects include those of Thomasian alumni: Ar. Abelardo Tolentino of Aidea, Arce-Bailon-Arce Architects; Ar. Daniel C. Go and Ar. Ana M. Ling of Jose Siao Ling Architects.
PRC was represented by its Chairperson Hon. Charito A. Zamora; Commissioners Hon. Jose Y. Cueto, Jr. and Hon. Erwin M. Enad; Chairman Hon. Robert Sac; Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture members Hon. Robert Mirafuente, and Hon. Corazon Tandoc; and International Affairs Office Director Atty. Melisa Jane B. Comafay.
