Samuel Penn L. Sy and Beatriz Claire B. Torre led the new batch of 84 Thomasian chemical engineers in the November 2016 licensure exams, results from the Professional Regulation Commission revealed. Sy obtained a grade of 81.00%, ranking sixth, and Torre obtained a grade of 80.70%, ranking ninth.
The new Thomasian chemical engineers logged a 66.14% passing rate for UST, higher than the national passing rate of 58.17%.
