Senior Civil Engineering students present papers in structural engineering convention; one group wins Best Thesis Award

During the May 25-27, 2017 Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines Convention in Novotel, Cubao, senior students of the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering program presented their research papers through posters.

A total of eighteen student theses were presented, three of which were from UST, and the Best Student Thesis was also from UST.

Performance of a structure with base isolation: The Philippine experience
Norman Audric C. Castro, Patrice Aubrey May B. Isip, Ram Christian E. Pascual, Lorenz Edward V. Tamayo, and Duizelle Rose Ann S. Tan, under their advisers Engr. Rodelio A. Tiburcio and Engr. Paul Marion J. Demapelis.
