Rehab. Sciences one of the first to receive CHEd Institutional Development and Innovation Grants

The University of Santo Tomas – College of Rehabilitation Sciences (CRS) joined thirteen other higher education institutions (HEIs) as the first recipients of the Commission on Higher Education’s Institutional Development and Innovation Grants, made available as part of the K to 12 Transition Program. The grant will provide funding to the chosen HEIs to conduct research and development programs within their institutions.

CRS bagged the grant for its research project entitled “Generation of Idea Incubators through Internationalization of Rehabilitation Science Programs in a Private University in the Philippines.” CRS offers four degree programs: BS Physical Therapy, BS Occupational Therapy, BS Speech-Language Pathology, and BS Sports Science.

The provisional notice of award was signed by CHEd Chairman Patricia B. Licuanan, PhD, last October 26, 2016.
