Ramos of EdTech, Teacher Education awarded for contributions to education inclusion by EduTech Asia

Asst. Prof. Anna Cherylle M. Ramos, MSc, Director of the Educational Technology Center and faculty member of the Teacher Education Department of College of Education, won the Greatest Individual Contribution to Education Inclusion plum during the EduTech Asia Awards 2017, held last November 8 in Singapore.

Ramos, UST’s EdTech Director since 2011, has been at the forefront of the adoption of innovative learning technologies in the University, leading the charge in maximizing the BlackBoard Learning Management System. Under her leadership, the Educational Technology Center received the four-star rating from the Philippine e-Learning Society.

EduTech Asia’s 2017 event bore the theme “Inspiring the Next Generation.” Receiving the award on Ramos’s behalf is Mr. Louie B. Dasas, MA, Strand Chair for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics of the Senior High School.
