ZAGUIRRE, Aldouse E.

Aldouse “Choy” Zaguirre is a licensed electrical engineer since 1995. He had his engineering education from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. He also pursued advanced education and received his degree on Master in Business Administration at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business in Manila. These degrees have established Choy’s foundation in electrical engineering and business management.

He started his career with 3M as a Technical Services Engineer for Electrical Markets Division (EMD). He developed here his expertise in cable technologies and their applications which allowed him to expand and serve the same function for Southeast Asia.

Similar to his stint in the technical area, Choy also developed his skills in business management. He was first appointed as EMD Division Manager for the Philippines. Shortly after that, he was recognized and designated as EMD Business Development Manager for South Asia, spanning India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. This experience further broadened his skills and knowledge as this responsibility exposed him to those different markets.

Choy is an educator. He started his career in the academe, being a member of UST’s Faculty of Engineering. He continues to serve in the faculty sharing his learnings from the industry. He teaches Renewable Energy, High Voltage Insulation, and Marketing Management.

Choy pioneered First Power Electrical Services and Trading Corp. with these skills, knowledge, and capability. The company engages itself in high voltage cable accessories and electrical safety.
