SAMANIEGO, Marvin L.
Engr. Samaniego is a faculty member of the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Santo Tomas while pursuing his PhD in Environmental Engineering at the University of the Philippines Diliman as DOST Engineering Research and Development for Technology scholar. Prior to joining UST, he was a visiting postgraduate researcher at the University of Surrey in United Kingdom in 2018-2019 and was a faculty member of the Department of Engineering Science, University of the Philippines Los Baños, Laguna. He received both his MS Environmental Engineering and BS Materials Engineering as cum laude in UP Diliman, Quezon City in 2009 and 2013, respectively. His recent research is the removal of pharmaceutical compounds in wastewater. He is interested in the development and modification of materials for wastewater treatment and environmental protection.
