Alexander D. Reyes, M.D., is a board-certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist based in Manila, Philippines. He is a Fellow of the Philippine College of Physicians and the Philippine College of Cardiology, and a member of several medical organizations, including the Asia-Pacific Heart Rhythm Society and the Philippine Heart Rhythm Society.
Dr. Reyes earned his Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Biology (cum laude) from the University of Santo Tomas (UST). He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Adult Cardiology at the UST Hospital, where he also served as chief fellow in 2018. He then proceeded with further fellowship training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and pacing at the National Heart Centre Singapore which he completed in 2024.
An active researcher, Dr. Reyes presented several papers at various local and international fora such as the Philippine Heart Association Annual Convention, ASEAN Federation of Cardiology Congress, Asia-Pacific Heart Rhythm Society Scientific Session, and Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology. He is likewise published in the Journal of Medicine University of Santo Tomas, and the Journal of Arrhythmia.
He is currently affiliated with the UST Hospital, and Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center where he is actively involved in both patient care and postgraduate medical training.
