LOBO, Kevin Lester B.

Engr. Kevin Lester B. Lobo, MSc, is a licensed electrical and mechanical engineer who earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering (2014) and Mechanical Engineering (2018) from the University of Santo Tomas (UST). He completed his Master of Science in Energy Engineering (MSEgyE) at the University of the Philippines – Diliman (UPD) in 2024 under the Department of Science and Technology – Engineering Research and Development for Technology (DOST-ERDT) Scholarship, and is currently pursuing his doctorate in the same field at UPD.

His research interests include energy systems, renewable energy, energy storage, sustainability, and energy conversion technologies. Within the university, he serves as a program adviser for electrical engineering students and previously held the position of deputy quality management representative (dQMR) of the department of electrical engineering.

In addition to his academic responsibilities, Engr. Lobo actively practices his profession by designing electrical and mechanical plans for residential buildings, commercial fit-outs, and small-scale industrial facilities. He is a member of various professional organizations, including the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME), the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE), and the UST Electrical Engineering Alumni Association, Inc. (USTEEAAI), where he formerly served as assistant secretary.
