GUTIERREZ, Carlito M.

Asst. Prof. Carlito M. Gutierrez is an academic and professional in the field of Electrical Engineering, currently serving as Chairperson of the Department of Electrical Engineering. A Registered Electrical Engineer and a cum laude graduate of UST, he has been an academic teaching staff at the university since 1997, teaching a wide array of both lecture and laboratory courses. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a master’s degree in management engineering, and is currently completing his Ph.D. in Educational Management and Leadership.

He has held key leadership positions, including serving as Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Manila, contributing significantly to the school’s academic compliance and program development. His extensive work with PAASCU, CHED, and other academic bodies demonstrates his active role in accreditation, curriculum assessment, and quality assurance at both institutional and national levels. His career reflects a deep commitment to engineering education, community service, and academic excellence.
