DY, Trixie Ruth N.

Engr. Trixie Ruth Dy received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering degrees from the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 2009 and 2013, respectively. She received her Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2021. She is a licensed chemical engineer registered by the Professional Regulations Commission in the Philippines, and a member of the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers – Metro Manila Academe Chapter (PIChE-MMAC). Her primary research interests are in applications of the pulsed electric field in tap water disinfection and electrochemical nitrate reduction. She has presented her work at various international conferences such as the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) annual meetings, and the Asian Conference on Sustainability, Energy, and the Environment.
