Engr. Esel Alyssa S. Dimapilis, MBA, is a licensed electrical engineer and educator with a solid background in both academia and the power industry. She earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of the Philippines – Diliman and her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas.
Her academic career focuses on teaching power systems, electrical apparatus, circuit analysis, and engineering design courses, where she integrates real-world applications into classroom instruction. Beyond academia, she has extensive experience in managing large-scale projects in the energy sector, with expertise spanning electrical system design, power distribution, and substation development.
Her research and teaching interests include power system reliability, renewable energy integration, smart distribution networks, and sustainable engineering practices. She is also actively involved in professional organizations, technical seminars, and industry collaborations that strengthen the bridge between academic training and practical engineering solutions.
