Engr. Maria Sharlene Insigne-Cabel is currently a candidate for Doctorate Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering major in Traffic Engineering at Kongju National University. In the same university, she earned her Master of Science in Urban and Transportation Engineering way back in 2011. She finished her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas. 

As an instructor, she handles courses such as CE 311, CE 321, and CEELEC1 to name a few. Outside of the academe, she is a member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers.
