The University of Santo Tomas (UST), in partnership with the Embassy of the State of Israel in Manila, mounted a photo exhibition of Pope Francis’s 2014 visit to Israel. The exhibition held from December 12 to 14, 2019 at the UST Faculty of Civil Law Social Hall was part of the celebration of the 25th year of the diplomatic relations between the State of Israel and the Holy See.
Gracing the opening of the exhibition was Embassy of Israel Deputy Chief of Mission Ms. Yulia Rachinsky-Spivakov. In her message, she said that the visit of Pope Francis to Israel on May 25 and 26, 2014, marked an important milestone in the deepening relationship among the Catholic Church, Israel and the Jewish people.
