In his fifth tournament of the year, Thomasian Pole Vaulter EJ Obiena bagged the gold in the Orlen Copernicus Cup, an annual indoor track and field competition held in Toruń, Poland.
Moreover, tying his personal record in his previous feat in Orlen Cup 2022 last February 12 which he also dominated, Obiena cleared 5.81 meters in his third attempt.
A world-renowned Thomasian athlete and a student of BS-Electronics Engineering, Obiena is eyeing to suit up for the country in the coming 31st Southeast Asian Games in May 2022, which will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam.
