Northwest Samar State University officials benchmark with Communications Bureau on website management

On February 15, 2024 (Thursday), officials from the Northwest Samar State University (NWSSU) – Calbayog City visited the University of Santo Tomas and benchmarked with the Communications Bureau, specifically for website management. NWSSU, one of the country’s universities ranked under Quacquarelli-Symonds, is also vying for a place in the Times Higher Education and WURI Rankings.

During the visit, Communications Bureau Director Philippe Jose S. Hernandez, Distribution Section Supervisor Mar Christian Darren C. Ramos, and Media Production Supervisor Marvin P. Rellamas provided an overview of the Bureau’s functions and how the office complements the work of academic and administrative units in sharing to the online audiences what UST does.

The benchmarking included a display of the various platforms that the Bureau manages as well as the different processes of content production that the Bureau undertakes.

The contingent from NWSSU by Drs. Riz Rupert Ortiz, Ramin Catamora, Myra Pilpa, and Ana Gretchen Tobe. The delegates included vice-presidents, directors, and academic unit heads.
