Master of Laws candidate is new Energy Asst. Secretary

Atty. Eden C. Brion-Bakilan, a Graduate School of Law Master of Laws candidate, was appointed the Department of Energy’s new Assistant Secretary (DOE).

Atty. Brion-Bakilan’s practice areas include Tax Consultancy and Advisory, Corporate and Commercial Law, Contracts, Regulatory Compliance, Government Procurement, and Administrative Law.

She previously served as DOE’s Head Executive Assistant and also Department of Tourism’s Director IV of Financial Management Service and OIC – Undersecretary, Admin and Finance.

DOE is the executive department of the Philippine Government responsible for preparing, integrating, coordinating, supervising, and controlling all plans, programs, projects, and activities of the Government relative to energy exploration, development, utilization, distribution, and conservation.
