Loa of Nursing wins best research poster award in Int’l Mental Health Conference in Thailand

Assistant Professor Ritzmond Loa of the College of Nursing won the best research poster for their paper entitled “Lived Experiences of Families with Children with Autism” in the 5th Child Development and Mental Health International Forum as part of the 16th Annual International Mental Health Conference conjoined with the 14th Annual Child Mental Health and Psychiatry Conference organized by the Department of Mental Health under the Thailand Ministry of Public Health in Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand on August 2 to 4, 2017.

The annual international conference was attended by more than 1,000 mental health and child development specialists, health professionals, international network of scholars, government and non-government organizations from 19 countries around the world to share recent innovations and best practices in the promotion of mental health, prevention, screening, management, and rehabilitation of child developmental problems, depression and addiction among adolescents, primary caregivers of children with developmental problems, and the older population.
