The Junior Tigersharks racked up an 18-9-12 gold-silver-medal haul, scoring 630 points in the UAAP Season 88 swimming tournament held at New Clark City Sports Hub’s Aquatic Center on Sunday.
They share their 5th golden double reign with the Junior Female Tigersharks.
Aishel Evangelista was still the reigning MVP after capturing six golds and a bronze.
Kristoff David bagged a gold medal in the 50-meter backstroke after finishing in 27.33 seconds. Julian de Kam snagged the bronze after registering 29.48 seconds.
Gabe Sy won gold in the 200-meter breaststroke and clocked 2:27.64. Sam Villanueva earned the silver for registering 2:18.08.
David, Sy, CJ Valenzuela, and Joseph Ciudadano won gold after clocking 4:03.83 in the 400-meter swim.
Lastly, Tim Capulong secured a gold after his 24.65-second performance in the 50-meter freestyle.
Their head coach was Caezar Alcantara.
