The UST Graduate School (GS) hosted the 2022 Business Leadership Lecture with Mr. Victor S. Marasigan, Senior Vice President of Masspower Philippines Electronics, Inc. as its guest speaker. He delivered a lecture on “Corporate Management Strategies in the 21st Century” to GS Ph.D. and MBA students via Zoom last April 7, 2022.
Marasigan began his talk by recounting his journey from his humble beginnings to his corporate success. He also highlighted corporate management techniques to handle various obstacles in the 21st century, particularly the corporate challenges brought about by the pandemic. He also focused on strategies on how to handle people as a very important corporate resource.
Marasigan is the founder of Great Joy and Distribution Inc., where he serves as President and General Manager. He is also the president of the Philippine Eco-Zones Business Club Inc., an organization directed towards the accelerated growth of foreign direct investments in the Philippines and assists foreign companies in setting up their operations in the country.
Aside from his heavy corporate responsibilities, he is an active community member, a civic leader, an inspirational speaker, and faithful ministry member.
Present during the event were Dr. Tomas S. Tiu, Course Facilitator and Dr. Elizabeth O. Recio, UST GS Business Cluster Head who delivered the opening remarks.
