The UST Growling Tigers outlasted the Ateneo Blue Eagles, 98-89, in their Katipunan turf, October 11, 2025.
UST improved to 4-1 and now occupies the #2 for the first round.
Nic Cabañero logged 22 points, while Forthsky Padrigao and Collins Akowe individually scored 20 points. Gelo Crisostomo notched 18 points. Mark Llemit, Kyle Paranada, Amiel Acido, and Koji Buenaflor contributed 18 points in total.
They will go head on against the Far Eastern University Tamaraws on October 15, 2025 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
