Culinary Entrepreneurship students bring home Silver Award from ASEAN Table Kitchen Competition 2023

CTHM BS Hospitality Management major in Culinary Entrepreneurship students Franchezka A. De Roxas, Angelo Gabrielle Lati, and Daniel V. Dalipe won the Silver Award from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Table Kitchen Competition 2023 organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) National Capital Region in partnership with Enderun Colleges. It was held on August 26, 2023. The event aims to highlight the culinary traditions and food cultures of ASEAN countries as part of the celebrations for the 56th Founding Anniversary of ASEAN.

The winning dishes were a display of Asian flavors namely: Thai Basil Chicken with Layered Squash Curry Puff for the appetizer, Chayote and Chicken in Herb Broth for soup, and Cereal Chicken and Shrimp with Nasi Goreng and Sambal Vegetables for the main course.

The student team was coached by Ms. Ramona Olga D. Ko and Mr. Reinald A. Andaya from the Department of Hospitality Management.
