CRS Ethics Review Committee receives PHREB nod for two-year accreditation

The Ethics Review Committee of the UST College of Rehabilitation Sciences received a fresh two-year Level 2 accreditation from the Philippine Health Research Ethics Board, which regulates the practice of research ethics committees all over the country in order to ensure the safe, ethical, and high-quality conduct of studies.

The accreditation, valid from June 8, 2022, to June 7, 2024, allows the CRS ERC to review all types of research except for clinical trials required for the registration of new drugs under the Food and Drugs Administration.

The standard operating procedures and details of services of the CRS ERC may be found here.
