The UST Coro Tomasino, under the baton of conductor Inst. Mark Raeniel B. Agpasa, MA, won the 2nd prize in the August 1, 2025 Taipei International Choral Competition, at the National Concert Hall of Taiwan, Taiwan.
Apart from the plum, the team also won two Gold Diplomas (for Mixed Choir and Ethnic/Traditional Music) and the Special Jury Prize – Promising Conductor Award for Mr. Agpasa.
Coro Tomasino is the official choir of the Conservatory of Music, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year.
