Chungbuk Health and Science University nursing students in UST for intensive immersion program

Four nursing students from Chungbuk Health and Science University, South Korea are in town for a six-week Special Intensive English Language, Filipino Culture, and Nursing Immersion Program, running from July 8 to August 15, 2025. The students are accompanied by Dr. Yirang Yim, Dean of the CHSU College of Nursing.

The program is designed to enhance the students’ proficiency in both English and Filipino, deepen their understanding of Philippine culture, and provide them with a nursing immersion experience at the UST Hospital.

This initiative is a collaborative effort of the Office of International Relations and Programs (OIRP), the UST Language Center, and the College of Nursing. This marks the third cohort of CHSU students to be hosted by UST under this partnership.
