Degrees

  • Master of Science-Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry, University of the Philippines Los Baños, 2023
  • Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, University of Santo Tomas-Manila, Philippines, 2013

Research Highlights

I screen indigenous and endemic plant species for potential sources of biologically active compounds, utilizing various chemical and biochemical techniques to isolate and purify bioactive compounds identified through biological assays. I apply my expertise in natural product chemistry to support advocacies that benefit indigenous communities and contribute to the development of health-related products derived from natural sources.
