The Department of Biological Sciences of the College of Science received a 13-million-peso worth donation of two equipment from Philab Industries: a DNA sequencer (Ion Personal Genome Machine) and an Ion OneTouch 2 System. The deed of donation was signed by Philab Industries CEO Hector Thomas Navasero and Science Dean John Donnie A. Ramos, PhD, last December 5, 2017 (Tuesday).
The equipment will be used for genomics research and teaching.
