Bachelor of Fine Arts, major in Painting (4 years)

Bachelor of Fine Arts, major in Painting (4 years)

Description

Bachelor of Fine Arts is a program composed of three (3) major disciplines allied and characterized in the same way by the pursuit of aesthetic concerns creatively conveyed through different visual-based media. These disciplines are grounded in the fundamental knowledge, tools, and techniques in translating concepts into artworks and products. Major disciplines under the Fine Arts program give students option to specialize either in (1) Advertising Arts, (2) Industrial Design, or (3) Painting.

Correspondingly, the Painting major of the College of Fine Arts and Design has been the vanguard in the development of famous visual artists in the industry. The program encourages flexibility to theoretical and practical practice of creating Good Art. It stresses a systematic preparation and focus on the “heart and soul” of Fine Arts, which requires basic & advance art knowledge, concept generation, and mastery of implementation and rendering skills to (but not limited) the following: illustration, sculpting, printmaking, photography, digital art, and, of course, Painting.
