Historians and history enthusiasts, including “Rampage” author James Scott, visited the University of Santo Tomas on February 2, 2024, for a lecture by the UST Faculty of Arts and Letters Dean Prof. Melanie Turingan, Ph.D., focusing on the Santo Tomas Internment Camp.

The Office of Public Affairs team, led by Ms. Michaella Lagniton, welcomed the guests. Following Turingan’s lecture was a tour of the UST Museum and a discussion on internment camp life led by the Collection Management and Documentation Assistant Ms. Maita Oebanda.
