Research Highlights

His research focuses on the discovery of potentially active natural products and peptides from Philippine plants and marine resources on angiogenesis, hypertension, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s disease. He is also involved in research on biocatalytic production of ethanol from waste cellulosic materials as renewable energy sources. Furthermore, he is into the development of drug delivery systems.
