The UST Junior Growling Tigresses won the UAAP Season 87 girls’ basketball championship after defeating the National University – Nazareth School (NUNS) Lady Bullpups, 63-57, at the Filoil EcoOil Center in San Juan.
Barby Dajao was crowned this season’s Most Valuable Player, while Rhianne Perez was named the Rookie of the Year plum.
Arsenio “Sen” Dysangco coached the Junior Tigresses.
