2nd Nenita D. Caralipio Memorial Lecture – Building Foundations: Nurturing Growth in the First Eight Years

The College of Education – Department of Elementary Education invites academicians, school administrators, students, researchers, and other interested participants to join theĀ 2nd Nenita D. Caralipio Memorial Lecture: Building Foundations: Nurturing Growth in the First Eight Years on October 2, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, at 21/F of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Building.

The keynote speakers for this event will be Her Excellency Maki Katsuno-Hayashikawa, UNESCO Regional Office Director of Jakarta and representative to Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Philippines, and Timor-Leste Laiaison to ASEAN countries; and early childhood education advocate Prof. Maria Carolina G. De Ocampo, academic staff of De La Salle University.

The panel of reactors will be Mr. Ericson J. Perez, Head of Vanguard Academy, Asst. Prof. Maripia P. Rabacal, MAT, MSEd, academic staff of College of Education; and Ms. Rinoa Chill V. Garcia, student from the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education program.

The sign language interpreter for this memorial lecture will be Mr. Noeneil R. Villanueva, MA, of the College of Education.

This event is part of the College’s 100th founding anniversary with the theme “From Foundations to Futures: A Center of Excellence.”
