2nd CTHM-RCSSEd National Virtual Tourism and Hospitality Conference 2021

With the theme “Nature and Culture-driven Tourism Development in Destinations: Pre-, During, and Post-COVID-19 Pandemic Situation in the Philippines”, the Research Center for Social Sciences and Education and the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management will host the 2nd CTHM-RCSSEd National Virtual Tourism and Hospitality Conference 2021 on October 22, 2021, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon via the UST Cloud Campus – Zoom.

To give pointers on how to boost tourism in time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the panel of speakers for this webinar will be San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte Mayor Hon. Alfredo P. Valdez, Jr., MD; Dr. Marygrace A. Ac-ac, President of the Museo Ac-ac and Atelier; Ms. Eva Marie S. Medina, former mayor of Vigan City, Ilocos Sur; and Ms. Alicia “Alice” Dizon-Pizarro, Provincial Tourism Officer of the province of Bataan.

Moreover, this webinar aims to give solutions from various multi-stakeholder perspectives on how the tourism industry could adapt, adopt, and slowly recover from the damages caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
