The University established the Academic Programs Quality Assurance Office (APQAO) in response to higher demands for quality assurance mechanisms in the delivery of academic programs. APQAO operates under the direct supervision of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and works in close coordination with the Deans/Directors of faculties/colleges/institutes. It focuses on ensuring that academic programs meet international, regional and national quality standards as evidenced by program assessment and/or accreditation.
The Academic Programs Quality Assurance Office envisions itself to be the academic units’ partner in the continuous quality improvement of its academic programs.
The Academic Programs Quality Assurance Office is the lead office of the University that monitors and provides support for program-level external quality assurance undertakings of academic units.
Facilitate the deliver of world-class academic programs in the University through the acquisition of the highest level of relevant national or internationally recognized program accreditations, assessments, or certifications
