Tiger Radio
UST Tiger Radio is the online broadcasting arm of Tiger Media Network, operating from the Educational Technology Center on the 12th floor of the Buenaventura Garcia Paredes, O.P. Building at the University of Santo Tomas, España, Manila. In previous years, UST Tiger Radio broadcast through MIXLR, offering diverse radio shows and programs that entertained Thomasians across various courses. These programs are managed by dedicated Thomasian volunteers from TMN who strive to provide high-quality content. In 2025, UST Tiger Radio’s shows air through the Tiger Media Network website and are cross-posted on Facebook. The station has also re-launched Tiger Radio Off-Air, its official podcast series available on Spotify every Saturday.
Over the years, UST Tiger Radio has built a significant social media following, with more than 29,000 followers on Facebook, 3,000 on Instagram, and 6,000 on TikTok. It has received international recognition, earning accolades such as IBCS Station of the Year and IBS Best Streaming/Online-Only Radio Station.
With various shows, UST Tiger Radio airs discussions on culture, lifestyle, interests, and student highlights daily, showcasing its volunteers’ broadcasting and storytelling talents.

Street Mix is a show that features cultures from across the globe. This show may talk about the trends, lifestyle, music, and artists of different countries.

STAN Tomasino
Stan Tomasino is a platform where “stans” can tune in, request songs, promote, and expound about their favorite popular artists.

Tigre Musika is a show wherein local Thomasians artists showcase their skills, stories, and talents through live airing performances. The show also highlights the Filipino music industry.

Kwentomasino is a show that features stories of the Thomasian community experience on a daily basis. This also proudly features Thomasian students, alumni, leaders, artists, athletes, celebrities, and bloggers.

Off the Court is a show that tackles all things sports. It features the ins-and-outs of the industry, and provides updates on sports happenings in and outside of the campus.

Take Care Tiger is a show featuring health and self-care tips that students need. This can include a segment where health professionals could provide health care treatment and advice.

Tiger Radio: Off Air
Tiger Radio: Off Air is a podcast program by UST Tiger Radio that blends audio and video formats to reach the Thomasian community. The program mainly focuses on relevant topics and features guests from inside and outside the campus.

TR CARAVAN
- The UST Tiger Radio Caravan brings its programming, music, and entertainment directly to students. It often includes talks by Tiger Jocks, live performances by Thomasian artists, interactive booths, and games that showcase their talents and promote school spirit, offering the campus community an exciting way to connect with Tiger Radio. Over the years, the station has organized various types of caravans, typically aligned with major events such as Valentine’s Day, Paskuhan, Agape, and USTET.
VINYLTHON
- Vinylthon is a yearly event celebrating vinyl records, where college radio stations devote an entire day to playing only vinyl tracks. It emphasizes the enduring charm of analog music and gives stations a chance to show off their diverse vinyl collections, attracting both nostalgic music fans and curious new listeners.
WORLD COLLEGE RADIO DAY
- UST Tiger Radio takes part in World College Radio Day, a global event where college radio stations come together to celebrate the creativity, diversity, and artistry of student-run radio. The day is filled with special events, collaborative broadcasts, and unique programs that highlight the importance of college radio in giving students a voice and a space for discovery.
TR BACKSTAGE ACCESS
- An exclusive feature that gives UST Tiger Radio followers a closer look at the station’s behind-the-scenes activities, including invited Thomasian artists and external performers during events like Paskuhan. It typically includes interviews with on-air talent and an inside view of station operations, designed to showcase a fun and engaging experience. Featured external artists have included BINI, Maki, Adie, SUD, Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, December Avenue, Lola Amour, Alamat, and many more, with highlights posted across all our social media platforms.
