Bridging the New Frontier in Sports Rehabilitation through Interprofessional Collaboration

A collaborative convention program that aims to strengthen the interprofessional collaboration of sports scientists, physical therapists, students and other health allied practitioners in providing knowledge and continuous education to various stakeholders regarding different scientific advances and modern trends in sports rehabilitation.

Program ThemeS and Objectives

Awareness & Promotion

  • To educate athletes and the general population regarding different scientific advances, modern trends in rehabilitation and exercise science
  • To increase awareness on the importance of a collaborative approach in promoting health, fitness and sports performance.

Intervention

  • To provide a continuing education program that will promote physical fitness and wellness activities among athletes and the general population.

Sustainability

  • To establish a collaborative network of sports science professionals physical therapists and other health allied practitioners wherein future physical activity, fitness and wellness promotion and education programs can be more developed.

Interprofessional Collaboration

  • To strengthen the interprofessional collaboration of various sports science professionals, physical therapists, athletic trainers, allied health professionals, student sports organizations and students studying the same field.

Cultural & Value

  • To promote the importance of sports in developing and strengthening life-long values that can be applied in day-to-day affairs.

Social Responsibility

  • To apply these learnings through various activities and wellness programs that will benefit athletes and general population.
