Can I attend Inkblots even if I am not a member of any school publication?
● Yes. Inkblots is open to high school and college students, school paper advisers, and journalism teachers.

When and where will Inkblots be held?
● The 26th Inkblots will be held on January 11 and 12, 2025, at the Dr. Robert C. Sy Grand Ballroom, located on the 2nd floor of the Buenaventura Garcia Paredes, O.P. (BGPOP) Building, at the University of Santo Tomas in España Boulevard, Sampaloc, Manila.

How much is the registration fee?
● The cost of Inkblots is subsidized by the Varsitarian. The registration fee is P1,000 per participant.

What does the registration fee cover?
● Admission to the event, a fellowship kit, and lunch and snacks for the two-day event.

Will accommodation or transportation be provided?
● No. All accommodation and transportation costs will be shouldered by the fellows. The Varsitarian staff will provide directions to the venue and nearby accommodations upon request.

How can I pay?
● Payments can be made on the event’s official website.
● The Varsitarian will only accept registration fees through online channels, including credit and debit cards, GCash, and Maya. Walk-ins and onsite payments will not be accepted. An online receipt will be issued once the payment is complete.

Following registration, how can I confirm my status as an Inkblots fellow?
● You will receive an email confirming your status as an Inkblots fellow once your payment has been successfully processed.

Who will be the speakers for the event?
● Some of the country’s most respected journalists will join the two-day event to discuss topics such as managing an online newsroom, election reporting, trends and issues in campus journalism, and the changing news media landscape. Follow the Varsitarian’s official social media pages and website to know the set of speakers.

Is there a limit to the number of participants?
● Slots will only be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we reach the maximum number of participants on or before December 20, 2024, additional registration will no longer be accepted.
