GALACST 2024 Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Research Tracks
GALACST 2024 welcomes abstracts consistent with the conference theme and research tracks including the following:
- Healthcare Access and Quality (Increasing access to comprehensive, high-quality health care services)
- Education Access and Quality (Increasing educational opportunities and help children and adolescents do well in school)
- Economic Stability (Identifying effective strategies for promoting economic empowerment in marginalized communities to meet their health needs)
- Neighborhood and Built Environment (Creating neighborhoods and environments that promote health and safety)
- Social and Community Context (Increasing social and community support)
N.B. Accepted papers from the conference may be selected for publication in the Journal of Social Health-The official journal of the University of Santo Tomas Research Center for Social Science and Education.
All submitted abstracts should:
- Be written in English.
- Use a word count of 300 words or less (excluding title, key words, and references). 3. Include a title of 12 substantial words maximum.
- Include five (5) key words.
- Use the following headings:
Background
Objectives/Aims
Methods
Results/ Findings
Conclusions (with clearly articulated theoretical and practical implications)
