MENDOZA, Karl Patrick R.

Karl Patrick R. Mendoza is a Ph.D. Candidate in Media and Communication at the University of Canterbury. He is also a part-time faculty at the Department of Communication and Media Studies, University of Santo Tomas. His main research interest is the politics of health and science communication in non-Western societies, focusing on trust, culture, and power issues. Karl was born and raised in Santa Maria, Bulacan, The Philippines. He lived there with his family for over 20 years before moving to Pasay City and eventually to Christchurch to take up his postgraduate studies.
