Engr. Odyssey Herrera is currently taking up his Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. In the same university, he also took his Master of Science in Water Resources in 2002 and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1997. He handles courses such as Hydrology, Disaster Science, and Wastewater Engineering to name a few.

Outside of the academe, he works as a Consultant and Hydrologist at Apercu Consultants, Inc. He is also involved in National Hydraulics Research Center as a Consultant and Research Fellow. He is a member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers and the Real Estate Brokers Association of the Philippines.
