Seminar on Psychological Utility of Children’s Drawings

The University of Santo Tomas Graduate School through its Center for Continuing Professional Education & Development (CCPED) will conduct a Seminar on Psychological Utility of Children’s Drawings on March 13, 2010, 8:00am – 5:00pm at the Seminar-Workshop Room 5, Thomas Aquinas Research Complex, UST, España Boulevard, City of Manila.

This course is anchored on the theories of psycho-diagnosis that will provide the participants with guidelines on how to extract information from children’s drawings to understand them better.  In particular, this course will cover lectures on concepts and theories in understanding children’s drawings, dynamics in studying children’s drawings, process and guidelines on extracting information from children’s drawings, and analyzing and interpreting samples of children’s drawings.

The target participants of this course are clinical psychologists, guidance counselors, pre-school and grade school teachers, and social and mental health workers. This is also open to doctorate and masteral graduate students in clinical psychology and guidance counseling.

Everybody is invited to this course. The early bird participants who will register on or before March 5, 2010 will have a discounted fee of PhP2,500.00/participant inclusive of seminar kit, 2GB USB, AM/PM snacks, lunch, group picture, and certificate.
