Born 1983; appointed Instructor 4 in 2008; graduated Magna cum Laude for B.Sc. in 2004; passed and placed 1st in the 2004 Chemist Licensure Examination; graduated Summa cum Laude for M.Sc. in 2008; nominee in the Young Investigator’s Award, 7th Joint Human Genome Organization-Pacific Meeting and 8th Asia-Pacific Society of Human Genetics Conference, 2008; awarded for Academic Excellence in Science by the Science Education Institute-Department of Science & Technology-Philippines in 2009. Author of Laboratory Manual in Organic Chemistry.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Molecular genetics of allergy, cardiovascular diseases, and other multifactorial disorders; Genetic epidemiology of gene polymorphisms in candidate genes for diseases and in pharmacogenomics; Cosmochemistry.
