Professor 3; awarded Outstanding Young Scientist in Chemistry by the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST)-Philippines in 1993, UST Certificate of Recognition for Leadership in Research Activities in 1995, 1998 Gawad Santo Tomas para sa Natatanging Mananaliksik (Outstanding Researcher), 1998 Gawad Santo Tomas para sa Natatanging Guro (Associate Professor); consistent recipient of the Gold/Silver Series Award for Research since 1998, UST; co-founder and first president, Natural Products Society of the Philippines; recognized for her research in “A Century of Women in the Health Sciences, 1900-2000 A.D. “(Ed.
