Born in Davao City, 1954. Undergraduate at the University of Santo Tomas, MSc in Chemistry and PhD in Chemistry at the University of Santo Tomas. Post Masteral work at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Instrumentation and Analytical Science, 1995-1996.
