THE JOHN PAUL II RESEARCH CENTER FOR THE ECCLESIASTICAL Sciences undertakes research work in the fields of Theology and Philosophy, including contextualized theology, interfaith and ecumenical theology, theology of transformation, canonical issues in the local church, Filipino philosophy, and Thomistic philosophy. It promotes “inter-faith dialogue” among peoples of varied faiths, practiced through common charitable and community development endeavors. It also incorporates the research interest in a sustained encounter between Catholic ethical traditions and contemporary culture.
