Mediartrix, the university wide, multi-media organization of UST, in its major production will stage Chicago, a musical adaptation of the film of the same title released last 2002. Directed by Katherine Amiller and Gladys Pagdato, Chicago is a story about the life of the people on stage struggling for fame with perseverance paying off in the end. With some revisions, the musical was designed to fit the stage. Charis Antalan will play as Roxie Hart, Alecsandra Pablo as Velma Kelly and Gilbert Arcilla Jr. as Billy Flynn.
With four months of preparation, Mediartrix's adaptation of Chicago will be staged at the Albertus Magnus Auditorium, on the 23rd and 24th of February, at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. For tickets, please contact Chem Poblete (09162543593) or Chino San Diego (09153090290).
